Center Stage Season 3 Tours This Fall

Touring from coast to coast, four Center Stage ensembles from Algeria and Tanzania make their U.S. debut tours this fall. Join us for performances and activities from Denmark, Maine to Joshua Tree, California. Kennedy Center performances by all ensembles are live streamed. 

ISTIJMAM September 5 - October 2
Gritty, intimate theater from Oran, Algeria
Performances at the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage (Washington, DC), Indiana University, the University of New Hampshire, and New York City's La Mama. Full event details here

A renewed taraab reinvigorates Zanzibar's syncretic signature sound
